Martha's Vineyard International Film Festival 2010 - Interview with Actor Matthew Modine, honored at this year's Global Citizen Award recipient. He is the founder of the nonprofit BicycleForaDay.org, whose mission it is to encourage everyone to fight obesity and cut fossil fuel consumption through bicycling. (He launched BFAD by leading 14000 bicyclists through the streets of lower Manhattan.) He also founded CardCarryingLiberal.net, a grassroots movement of Americans dedicated to human rights. In addition, Mr. Modine is a supporter of The Wounded Warrior Project, God's Love We Deliver (dedicated to support of all those living with AIDS, cancer, and other serious illnesses), and several other organizations dedicated to improving others' lives.
